Agents of Shadow: 2018 Readers’ Choice Award Winner!
Reader’s Choice Favorite Book
As I’m one that tries to remain humble, I’ll keep this short, but this news is so exciting I can’t help myself but to share!
Several months ago I was editing a manuscript for a friend/client who insisted I enter my own novel, Agents of Shadow into the 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards Contest. From what the details of the contest explained, it’s a big one. Like, thousands of submissions from approximately 12 different countries. The prizes were quite attractive (possible publishing contracts or movie rights deals), but definitely a long shot. Not that odds should matter, but for a starving artist like myself on a tight budget, the submission fee isn’t cheap.
However my friend talked me into it until I agreed.
Readers Choice Award – Fiction Horror
Well lo and behold, Agents of Shadow received Honorable Mention in the category for Horror! From what I could tell, that’s kind of similar to 4th place! Although that’s not something to get me to buy a plane ticket to the Awards Ceremony, I’m still pretty stoked about the whole thing! Agents of Shadow also received a Five-Star Review from one of the panelists of the contest!

I’d also like to congratulate the other winners/finalists in this category! I know writing Horror is not always an easy task, but it’s clear to see these medal winners have an incredibly creative mind! Well done to all.
